Description

Master of long engages, the Jinx (from League of Legends) of TnT. If you give the badger 5 seconds, it'll give you a mile and possibly the game. Badgers are great in the late game when she has more of a front line to give her enough time to ramp up. Even alone she has a respectable amount of hp to survive, but always better to be healthier than not. As the badger is the only unit in the game that can move and attack at the same time, try to keep her just in range to be hitting something, but not too deep at to be focused down quickly.

Counters

Badgers have the highest dps out of all the units in Tooth and Tail, however it's gonna take her 5 seconds before that dps really starts hurting, so the objective here is to kill her quickly. Even in larger fights, it's probably in your interest to focus down the badger asap.

Tier 1 Options

  • Mole: Alone, moles won't do much against a badger, but in a group with other units they're very helpful if they tank the badger's minigun while others focus him down.

Tier 2 Options

  • Chameleon: Chameleons hit hard and though they hit slow, it's faster than the time needed for badgers to ramp up. If you have a few chameleons, it's recommended you force them to the backline to take out the badger.
  • Snake: Killing a badger slowly is better than not killing it at all. Snakes will provide some additional DPS to help you kill the badger faster.

Tier 3 Options

  • Fox: All it takes is 3 shots from a fox to kill a badger, but in a fight it may be harder to do in practice as it will more often then not put the fox in danger.
  • Wolf: Wolves aren't all that useful alone but provide a lot of instant dps in a large group for 6 seconds, while as the badger takes that amount of time to ramp up.

Structural Options

  • Sniper Balloon: Balloons can kill badgers in 3 hits. If hidden on high ground, they may kill a badger before they can even react.
